A Little Pick-Me-Up

The problem with building your own mechanical arm is you're the only one who really knows how to fix it. In the middle of the desert, hundreds of miles away from the nearest supply shop, this can be a very daunting task. Ryley is determined to fix the problem, even when the work stretches deep into the night and exhaustion begins to weigh down. With her new friend Ai'mee there to offer a bit of reassurance and a hot cup of coffee, the effort is a little more bearable.


This was a bit of practice with a regular ballpoint pen, no penciling done. I am usually allergic to doing things without a pencil (the fear of making a mistake and not being able to erase it is a bit pressuring) but after I relaxed with basic shapes, the rest kinda smoothed together into a cute little scene with two of my OCs.
