Self Employment and Exploding Comets

Mon Nov 5, 2007, 6:19 AM
  • Mood: Amazed
  • Listening to: Gackt: Tsuki no uta
  • Playing: World of Warcraft before getting back to work
  • Eating: Homade egg and ham sandwich!
  • Drinking: 3 liter UBER BOTTLE of grape soda
I decided, through a committee of one, that weekends are my days off.

Being self employed has it's benefits. I can choose or deny any project I want, work my own pace so long as I make the deadline, set my own prices and choose my days off.

Only problem is... FINDING WORK. Which there seems to be a troubling lack of. Methinks I'm gunna spend today writing ads for my design skills into more local newspapers.

In other news,

A comet exploded o.O The other night while taking a walk back to my house, I noticed a funny looking star to the north, a bit brighter then Jupiter, that I don't remember ever being there. I chalked it up to my commonly unobservant self, until I ready just this morning that a comet exploded, and it's debris field has expanded to be larger then Jupiter.

Think about what kind of force caused a debris field that big, and so quickly o.O The fact that an explosion that big will be lasting the next few weeks boggles my mind. Stuff in space is friggin' big!
